At the final weigh in I was blown away at the progress I made. With big improvements in both my fat and muscle percentage. The past 8 weeks have been amazing and I can't thank the trainers enough for the encouragement and passion they've put into this. I'm excited to build upon what I've achieved so far and feel I've gone from just attending the gym, to being a part of the community at Fitness Life.

The 8WT has been a great start towards being much healthier, leaner and stronger. I’m hungry to keep building towards staying that way. It has also taught me a very fundamental mindset shift that you only compete against yourself and this surely also has changed my way of thinking in my own business.

The 8 week transformation has been a great opportunity for me to kick my body back into gear. I never felt I had an unhealthy lifestyle before it, but this just cemented even better and cleaner practices. My body has certainly thanked me for it. Overall an enjoyable, supported and encouraging 8 weeks!

I honestly didn’t think I would last the duration, bailing out midway is what I normally do. With the support, guidance, not only from coaches but other 8 weekers I was able to finish the challenge. I’m so pleased with my results. Diabetes is not not knocking on my door, my blood pressure has returned to an acceptable level (first time in years) and my cholesterol levels have dropped dramatically. With this challenge I lost 5kg and although I haven’t dropped a dress size I now feel that I have the tools and support necessary to achieve this.

The 8 week transformation saw a change in routine for me, which really freaked me out. I hadn't stepped foot into a normal gym for many years, opting for classes only. What I found however was through going to classes, particularly strength, I actually had a much greater understanding of what I should be aiming for in my own sessions and was able to target my goals supported by classes and PT. After day 1 in the gym I sensed the awesome community vibe which made me look forward to my morning workout even more. I feel stronger, leaner and more knowledgeable thanks to the incredible trainers. But the thing I am most grateful for is the gym buddies I have gained who have been a constant encouragement throughout the 8 weeks

Big thanks to all the coaches for their support and motivation over the 8WT. I found their classes a challenge and fun! Special thanks to my PT Bernie for her amazing guidance.
Personally, the most important information I took away from the program was how important the correct diet is. You definitely don’t need to go hungry to lose weight!! Just need to be organized....
I really enjoyed Lucy’s eating plan. It has totally made me rethink my meal choices.
The 8WT kickstarted my weight loss. I certainly feel healthier and more motivated to continue my journey.

My friends and family have been commenting on how fit and healthy I’m looking which has been a massive incentive to power on!
I’ve really learnt to love exercise and good nutrition. I have found it to be a very enlightening learning experience to see just what the body can achieve when your treat and fuel it right.

I have been going to the gym on and off for years now but the 8WT for me was really about reassessing my goals and setting myself up with good habits in both nutrition and training, to not only look better but feel better. The transformation has done all of that and more, I would recommend it to anyone from those just starting out in the gym to those who have been training for years and just need a reset and refocus.
