Rowan Mumford

Owner & Director
​With a background and qualifications in fitness, coaching and business development Rowan has coached over 2000 clients during the past 10 years in the fitness industry.

With a range of goals from fat loss, rebuilding better movement pathways, to refining strength and performance development Rowan has tackled every clients goal with the same passion and enthusiasm to be an accelerator of positive change in their life.

Every client has a unique set of challenges and with his team of coaches they continue to excel in developing tried and proven methods to support each individual client.

Bernadette Davis

Head Coach
Bernie has been a personal trainer for over 5 years, and is currently the head coach here at Fitness Life Studios.

In that time Bernie developed a passion for helping people to love strength training, to appreciate all of the positive things their bodies can do, to assist them in setting goals they may have previously seen as unachievable and making sure they have fun doing it.

Bernie loves teaching people how to recognize and celebrate their achievements while helping them become the fittest, healthiest and strongest version of themselves.

Head of Group Training
April has always enjoyed maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. After having children, April’s passion and interest intensified and she completed her qualifications, Certificate III & IV in Fitness, to be able to partner with others in their journey.

Drawing upon her personal experiences, challenges and successes, April shares encouragement, guidance and strategies within and beyond our fitness community. She is keenly involved in their journey to achieve a healthier and stronger body and an increased sense of self worth, value and confidence.

Specialising in group fitness, April upholds the value of a strong team. To be accountable to yourself, set yourself up for success, be inspired to push your comfort zone and to have some fun. She strongly believes a community of like minded people can enrich and enhance your fitness journey.

Ben TUrner

Admin Manager
Ben’s interest in the fitness industry grew out of a passion for training and supporting his best mates. The desire to better understand the human body and how best to look after it led him to pursue a cert 3 & 4 in fitness, followed by a bachelor degree in Human Movement, in addition to other academic pursuits and physical hobbies.
​
Ben has been part of the Fitness Life team for 6 years, using his knowledge to patiently coach hundreds of members towards health and fitness outcomes.
Ben’s approach to health and fitness is holistic, practical and evidence based. He enjoys developing tools and strategies with people so they can take ownership of their health and fitness, and make lasting, sustainable changes to their lives.

Kira Daniel

Coach, Group Instructor
​Kira (K-eye-ra) has always enjoyed team sports, and was inspired by a personal role model to get involved in the fitness industry during high school, completing her cert 3 and 4 in Fitness. 
 
She loves taking her early morning group classes - dishing out fun facts throughout the class, and is well known for her bubbly, energetic personality. She loves working with everyone, especially young teens starting out in the gym, gaining confidence within themselves and making the gym fun for them and all of her clients, creating healthy habits. 
 
Fun fact: Bones are 4 times stronger then concrete... crazy 🤯

Brianna Shanks

Coach, Group Instructor
Bri’s love for fitness and exercise grew out of a love of sports all through her teen years. Upon gaining Diploma of Fitness in 2015 Bri has since helped many clients achieve their heath and fitness goals.

She is keenly interested in helping clients live better and move better, particularly around injury and rehabilitation. This interest led Bri to pursue qualifications in Physiotherapy. She is now in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at UniSA.

Bri would love to help you on your fitness journey.

Amelia Seidel

Coach, Group Instructor
​Amelia discovered her love for health and fitness during high school, particularly in strength and muscle mass development.

Her interest led her beyond cert 3 & 4, and she is now in her final year of studying a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science. She enjoys training for health, improved energy, and social interaction, and appreciates the many different reasons why someone may come to the gym.

​She understands that for most people exercise is a part of life, but not their whole life. She loves helping others to find what works for them when it comes to fitting exercise into their lives in a sustainable and enjoyable way. Amelia enjoys working with people of all ages, including kids.

Sandra Krasowski

Coach, Group Instructor
Sandra has trained for over 20 years in gym environments, and has been a part of the Fitness Life family for 8 years, starting as a member. She was encouraged by her trainer at the time to take the leap into a new industry, which turned out to be the best decision she has made!  Sandra feels that being a coach at Fitness Life Studios isn’t just a job, but a calling and her purpose.

After having a child 6yrs ago, Sandra has a greater understanding and appreciation of the challenges involved with being a mum and maintaining fitness levels.

Being a Group Training coach plays a huge part in Sandra's life. Not only does she run several of our HIIT, Burn, Recovery and Strength for Life classes throughout the week, she thoroughly enjoys being a participant in these classes.

Tom Moularadellis

Coach, Group Instructor
Tom is our local 19-year-old aspiring Uni student currently spending his gap year learning the ropes of personal training. He is avidly passionate about fitness and has been a familiar face around the gym for the past four years as a dedicated member.

Tom has finally jumped on board as part of the coaching team, so if you are around, come in and say hey! If you can’t find Tom in the gym, you will find him soaking up the good times either on the local mountain bike trails or out hiking through the hills.

Kathy Green

Group Instructor
Kathy has been a member with us for the past two years and joins the staff team with much excitement! Her journey into the fitness industry has come later in life but as they say good things come to those who wait.
​
Kathy’s role as a hairdresser over the past 26 years demonstrates a dedication and love for interacting with her clients in an appointment-based setting, giving her many transferrable skills to apply to personal training and the fitness industry. She looks forward to developing similar client relationships, helping people walk out with their heads held high - even if their body is aching!!

Kathy looks forward to supporting your fitness journey in the same way that she has been supported in her time as a member – the gym is her happy place and she would love for that to be the case for you!

Lewis Horwood

Coach
Lewy is an ASCA qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach and is completing a Bachelor of Health (Nutrition and Exercise) at UniSA.

Having trained and competed in endurance sports since early high school, namely ultramarathons and long-course triathlons, Lewy developed a passion for exploring his own perceived limits, and learning to move and train more effectively.

​As a coach, he loves to assist others in the pursuit of their goals, and allowing them to surprise themselves with their own abilities and capacities. He prides himself on being engaged, technical, and encouraging of his athletes and clients developing their own clear understanding of the 'why' behind training methods and concepts.

These days you can find him training martial arts, rock-climbing, and preparing to raise a family!
